“In the Waiting Room” is Scott’s adaptation of an Elizabeth Bishop poem of the same name and is designed to be integrated into a larger documentary project that focuses on the life and work of the poet. Scott is an associate professor in the Department of Media Arts, Sciences, and Studies. |

John Scott’s film “In the Waiting Room” was one of twenty-nine films in competition at the Zebra Poetry Film Festival in Berlin last weekend. The festival selected twenty-nine movies from over 770 submissions from 70 countries to be in the competition screenings.
