The Campus Center & Event Services Office is looking to fill three different positions for the spring semester 2015.  Two of these positions have multiple openings for students.

Operations Staff (several openings)

The Operations Staff are an integral part of the Campus Center and Event Services office.  Consisting of over 35 student employees, the Operations Staff help maintain the Information Desk, Recreation Center, and Set-Ups for all events in the Campus Center facility.   Operations Staff will be paid $8.00 per hour for up to 20 hours per week during the academic year.

The application deadline is Wednesday, November 12, 2014. 

Interviews will take place the week of November 17, 2014.

Event & Marketing Coordinator  (more than one opening)

The Event and Marketing Coordinator (EMC) is responsible for a variety of tasks, including: 

Meeting with clients to discuss information pertinent to their events.

1. Assisting clients with planning room set up, audio visual services, parking, public safety, information technology, and catering services.
2. Using 25Live, Microsoft Excel, and Word to keep a log of all service requests
3. Providing marketing services; competency in Adobe Photoshop for advertisements, as well as an understanding of other available media (social and other), are crucial
4. Estimating event budgets
5. Answering all of the clients' questions pertaining to their events

Visio Room Diagram Assistant (one opening only)

The Visio Room Diagram Assistant is responsible for:

1. Creating room diagrams into the Visio database
2. Measuring rooms
3. Documenting Room dimensions using tape measures and computer software
4. Creating Room Resources (i.e. chairs, tables, etc.) to be used in diagrams
5. Documenting room changes
