Ithaca College has announced ticketing procedures for the 2014 Cortaca Jug football game, which will be held Nov. 15 at noon at the Cortland Stadium Complex. The annual game between Ithaca and Cortland draws enthusiastic capacity crowds, so fans are encouraged to get their tickets as early as possible for the event. A limited number of tickets are available and no tickets will be sold at the stadium on the day of the game. Every spectator must have a ticket in order to enter the stadium.

Student, Faculty, Staff Ticketing: Ticket distribution for Ithaca College students, faculty and staff members will take place Nov. 3-5 at the Athletics & Events Center ticket and concession area on the east exterior concourse, facing Higgins Stadium. There is a limit of one ticket per student ID, and a student may bring one additional ID other than their own to the ticket pickup location. There is a limit of two tickets issued per faculty and staff ID, with a limit of two IDs per person at pickup. All tickets cost $10.

Ticket distribution times for each of those days are as follows:

Monday, Nov. 3 from 3-8 p.m.
Tuesday, Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 5 from 3-8 p.m.

Alumni Ticket Sales: A limited number of tickets will be made available for alumni. Sales will begin online Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. and will close Nov. 7. Alumni will be permitted to purchase two tickets at $10 each. They must be a member of the Alumni Association in order to purchase tickets. Further information is available here.

General Public Ticket Sales: If there are any tickets available after the Ithaca College community has received their allocation, they will go on sale to the general public on a date that will be announced.

Cortaca Licensing / Merchandise: In the summer of 2012 Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland began a licensing and trademark enforcement program for the Cortaca Jug football game. The two schools, participants in the annual football game, became co-owners of the registered trademark "Cortaca."

Any vendor creating merchandise (apparel, bags, writing utensils, mugs, etc.) bearing the protected term "Cortaca," whether for on-campus departments or organizations, or for third-party vendors to sell in stores, must apply and be approved as an official licensee by both Ithaca College and SUNY Cortland. Upon being licensed, all designs for merchandise being created must be submitted for approval before production begins. Further information is available here.
