What's a Microaggression?

Contributed by Don Austin on 10/28/14

Microaggressions. What are they exactly? How do I tackle them? Why do they matter?

If you're interested in diversity and social justice issues, you really want to learn more about this big term that people throw out, or you want to learn more about yourself and your place in this world, you should attend this session led by the Diversity Peer Educators!  This workshop is available for SLI credit for Block II, and participants will learn about why the "small things" matter when dealing with diversity.

This workshop is being offered at the below dates/times:

-Thursday, November 4 from 12:10-1:00 PM, Ithaca Falls Room

and

-Wednesday, November 12 from 7:00-8:00 PM, Taughannock Falls Room

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Don Austin at austin@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
