Join CMA EDU, a new student organization aimed at giving you music industry experience and networking opportunities through the help of the Country Music Association.

CMA EDU is the Country Music Association’s college outreach and business development program. CMA EDU’s primary focus is to educate college students on career opportunities within the music and entertainment industries. Each semester CMA EDU invites industry professionals including artists as guest speakers to their respective campuses. Industry speakers share their insights into the field, discuss current industry trends and impart concrete advice on how to successful pursue and excel in a music business career.

CMA EDU Chapters are also challenged with working directly with industry professionals on projects tailored to the college audience. These projects allow students to strengthen teamwork skills, gain practical industry-related experience and participate in fun and innovative music initiatives.

For example, the current project chapters of CMA EDU are working on right now, is how to increase Carrie Underwood's presence through social media outlets. All proposals are sent directly to her managers. Sound like something you would be interested in?

...Then join us at our kickoff party on Nov. 5th in Williams 225 from 8-9:30pm. We will be airing the CMA Awards and have contests to win CMA EDU gear straight from Nashville! Pizza & soda will be provided.

Fans of all music genres are encouraged to join!
