Tutoring Services Tutors are currently  voting on new tutoring regulations beginning Spring 2015

Tutoring Services will be addressing the high numbers of missed and cancelled appointments with tutors with new procedures starting next semester.  This is in addition to current policies outlined in the Contract for Mutual Understanding which discourages these behaviors.

Frequent no-shows, and or last minute cancellations is a misuse of College human and financial resources.  It is also unfair for tutees to miss appointments and subsequently pressure tutors for make up appointments right before exams and as they get closer to finals.

Tutors will have the opportunity to vote on whether or not Tutoring Services should explore charging students for frequent missed and no-show appointments.
