The newly developed Web MIDI API, a companion to the Web Audio API, gives any web page access to both internal and external MIDI equipment through any number of established input and output ports. Through presenter developed examples, the presentation demonstrates both how MIDI performance data can be used on web pages and how the MIDI command structure can be used to control different media elements and just about any other aspect of web page functionality. |
