The Student Leadership Institute offers sessions in one of four tracks; Leading Self, Leading Others, Leading at IC and Leading in a Diverse World. Below are a few of the sessions being offered next week.

Leading Self
Wellness Wednesdays: Massage Therapy
Stress takes a toll on our bodies, yet our bodies often push through during the hard times. Massage therapy is one way to help give your body the “ahh” it needs to relax and rejuvenate. Come learn about the importance of massage and available resources on campus and off!

Leading in a Diverse World
Microaggressions
This activity will explore the nature of microaggressions, and how this behavior affects its victims. In addition to exploring microaggressions as they relate to larger concepts of privilege and oppression, students will be encouraged to utilize the workshop as an opportunity to discuss microaggressive behavior as it occurs on the Ithaca College campus.This session will be presented by the Diversity Peer Educators.

Leading Others
Paper Scrapers
This is a fun, structured experience that will help participants explore project development, implementation, and promotion skills. Join in to experience problem solving and collaboration on a small team.This session will be presented by Michele Lenhart, Director of Student Leadership and Involvement in the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs.
