Please join us for the fourth event in this semester's Greater Caribbean Lecture and Events Series, sponsored by Ithaca College's Latin American Studies Program. Charmaine Nelson, Associate Professor of Art History at McGill University, will give a talk on the visual culture of slavery in the 19th century Caribbean, entitled "James Hakewill's Picturesque Tour of Jamaica (1825): Landscape Art as Pro-Slavery Discourse." Thursday, November 13th, 6 pm in Textor 101, Ithaca College
