Primitive Pursuits Information Session for Wilderness Skills Training and Certification Tonight!Contributed by Carol Hansen on 11/16/14 Next spring Primitive Pursuits – who co-teach the popular ENVS Sentinels course – will be offering a rigorous 160-hour training program covering primitive technology skills, naturalist’s skills, and teaching methodologies, culminating in participant certification as a Wilderness Skills Instructor. Please join us for an informational session on Monday, November 17, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in CNS 1-B.
Primitive Pursuits has been a local leader in the nature awareness movement for many years, and their year-round youth programs currently serve over 1000 participants annually. The skills gained by working with this program are highly valued in both traditional and outdoor experiential education spheres.
