PODER is collaborating with the Caribbean Students Association and the Latin American Studies Department to bring Platanos, Collard Greens, Y Callaloo to Ithaca College on December 1st in Emerson Suites at 7PMThis event is free and open to the PUBLIC!

Platanos, Collard Greens Y Callaloo is a play based off of David Lamb’s book Do Platanos Go Wit’ Collard Greens? It tells the story of two college students, Freeman, an African-American man, and Angelita, a Latina woman, both forced to confront and overcome cultural and racial prejudices, while defending their bond from the biases held by family and friends.

Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Emily Ramos at eramos1@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
