The traffic light at the intersection of Alumni Circle and Route 96B has defaulted to a flashing yellow light due to a system malfunction. The Office of Facilities has been working with outside contractors to diagnose the problem and identify the corrective action as quickly as possible.

A contractor is tentatively scheduled to make additional repairs to the light this Wednesday, December 10, if weather allows.

Motorists and pedestrians are encouraged to exercise caution while in the intersection and while crossing the road.  The Office of Public Safety will continue to assist with pedestrian crossing and traffic flow during the morning and evening hours, as they are available to do so.
