Shakespeare Re-Loaded

Contributed by Greg Bostwick on 12/14/14

Enjoy Shakespeare as you have never seen him before on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. in the Clark Theater of Dillingham Center.

The students of the Styles of Acting class have re-imagined several Shakespeare scenes for the 21st century. Taming of the Shrew in a corporate headquarters (and elsewhere). Comedy of Errors in an Intensive Care Unit. Twelfth Night in a drag club. Midsummer Night's Dream in a prison, at a summer music festival and elsewhere. King Lear on a New Jersey rooftop. Two Gentlemen of Verona in a photographer's studio and a neighborhood bar. Hamlet at the grave site of a famous pop star. All absolutely free of charge.

The program should last about 90 minutes.

We hope to see you for "Shakespeare Re-Loaded."
