Make a video game in 48 hours, you say? Then you're reading the right post! The Ithaca College Game Developer's Club is hosting Global Game Jam for the second year in a row, and we're inviting you to build video games with us! A raffle for prizes will be offered for all participants too!

Who: You! If you're interested in art, sound, storywriting/storytelling, computer programming,  video games in general, or want to have a good time, this event is for you! No experience is  required to make a video game.

What: The Global Game Jam is an international video game-building event; 72 countries participated last year with over 23,000 participants making more than 4,000 playable games. Participants are to make a video game within 48 hours of the start of the event. The games are based on a theme that is released to the participants at the start of the event.

When: January 23th-25th, 2015 (the first weekend of the semester). The event starts at 5pm on the 23rd, and closes at midnight. On Saturday, the event will run from 9am-midnight, and on Sunday the event resumes at 9am and officially ends at 5pm.

Where: Williams 309, Ithaca College Campus

Why: to promote confidence, community, and creativity in the game design and developing field. And, to make an awesome game! And to have fun!
