Dr. Paula Ioanide's book, The Emotional Politics of Racism: How Feelings Trump Facts in an Era of Colorblindness (Stanford), has made FLAVORWIRE's "10 Must-Read Academic Books for 2015."  Dr. Ioanide is an associate professor in the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity.
