Associate Professor Elizabeth Bergman, aging studies, will be presenting “Learning Outside of the (Classroom) Box: Experiential Learning Opportunities for Undergraduate Gerontology Students” at the 41st annual meeting of the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE) in Nashville, TN. Her presentation will highlight several recent specific examples of projects and initiatives with an experiential component carried out by faculty and staff in IC’s Gerontology Institute. Co-authors of this presentation include Mary Ann Erickson, associate professor and chair of aging studies; Rhoda Meador, director of the institute; and Christine Pogorzala, assistant professor.
