Change in Schedule! Tertulia! Spanish Conversation PracticeContributed by Maria DiFrancesco on 04/12/15 A tertulia is a social gathering with literary or artistic overtones, especially in Spain or Latin America. If you are a student of Spanish, speak Spanish at home and miss speaking it on campus, or if you are simply looking to meet others who are passionate about the Spanish-speaking world and its cultures, then please join us. When & Where: Sundays from 3:00-4:00 p.m. and Tuesdays during the common noon hour. Both sessions are held in Job 209, the LCEC. Why: This is a great opportunity for you to practice your Spanish language skills in a supportive, relaxed environment with native or near-native speakers of Spanish. Students of all language abilities are welcome. Questions: Contact Professor Maria DiFrancesco, Muller 411 (mdifrancesco@ithaca.edu). Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Professor Maria DiFrancesco at mdifrancesco@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3547. |
