The Ithaca College Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to invite you to join Stephen Sweet, Chair, Department of Sociology, Ithaca College, for a free webinar titled “The Problem of Work-Family Balance” on Wednesday, February 18 from 12:00-1:00 pm.

In this webinar, Dr. Stephen Sweet will examine what it actually means to “balance” work and family and why the pursuit of “balance” is not necessarily the best means to reconcile the tensions experienced by working families.  He will discuss how a focus on “work-family fit” can foster innovation and generate greater enthusiasm among employers for strategies that help employees harmonize jobs with life.
