"On Being Mortal: The Human Hand in How We Die" Monday, February 16
Holly G. Prigerson, Ph.D., is the Irving Sherwood Wright Professor in Geriatrics, Professor of Sociology in Medicine, and the Director of the Center for Research on End of Life Care at Weill Cornell Medical College. She will discuss research findings from the Coping with Cancer Study, a National Institute of Health funded study involving patients and caregivers in 8 outpatient cancer clinics across the United States. Her talk will highlight the factors affecting end-of-life decision making and provide suggestions on how to improve the quality of care.
