During the week of February 2nd, mental health awareness group, Active Minds, held daily events encouraging students to focus on their well-being. The events included “Real Facetime”, “Bracelet Making”, “Planting Seeds of Positivity”, and a screening of the Australian television show “Please Like Me”. The first event, “Real Facetime”, consisted of students unplugging from their electronic devices and enjoying time spent with loved ones in a face-to-face setting. “Planting Seeds of Positivity”, as pictured, was an event designed to spend time planting greenery to spend time in a relaxing manner. The successful week of events brought people together to relax and converse about mental health.
