The Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs, known around the world as OSEMA, will be offering its FIRST EVER SUMMER BREAK VOLUNTEER TRIP!

6 students will have the opportunity to engage in a volunteer trip to Acadia National Park, located on Mount Desert Island, Maine, from Tuesday, May 12 – Monday, May 18, 2015.

Mount Desert Island is one of the most beautiful places in North America, and is home to one of the most beloved national parks in the United States: Acadia National Park. Acadia provides its visitors with an array of outdoor activities for anyone to enjoy!

Students will assist the Acadia National Park staff and their volunteer organization, Friends of Acadia National Park, with a variety of beautification and preservation projects, including campsite maintenance, trail stewardship, and other important projects.

Students will camp at Acadia National Park. And have a considerable amount of free time to explore and enjoy the area!

To learn more about this opportunity, you can attend one of the following information sessions:

-          Tuesday, March 31, from 12:10pm – 1pm in Cayuga Lake Room (near the entrance to Campus Center Dining and the PUB).

The all-inclusive fee for this trip is $200, and will cover all transportation, food, lodging, and programmatic fees
