Ithaca College

Kerry Spitze, Manager of Ithaca College’s Academic Advising Center, has been selected to present at the upcoming Region One Conference of NACADA (The Global Community for Academic Advising) in Manchester, New Hampshire. Her presentation will focus on best practices in academic advising, including the use of active listening techniques to facilitate successful outcomes. NACADA’s Region One is comprised of Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Quebec, Rhode Island, Vermont, and the Eastern Provinces of Canada. Established in 1979, NACADA has a membership of over 11,000 higher education professionals, and a mission that focuses on the theory, research, and practice of academic advising in higher education.
