Congratulations to Mark Ross of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S), who qualified for and passed the examination to become a certified Chemical Hygiene Officer (CHO).

The CHO designation, from the National Registry of Certified Chemists (NRCC), provides credentialed recognition to those professionals engaged in the management of  laboratories who have demonstrated the highest levels of training, knowledge, skill, and competence in a comprehensive set of theoretical, fundamental, and practical aspects of chemical health and safety. The CHO designation is the premier certification for EH&S professionals in the U.S., and is accredited by the NRCC and heavily supported by the American Chemical Society.

Mark brings a unique and extensive range of skills to the College and this achievement is yet another example of his positive contributions toward the betterment of the department and the College.
