Email your best work to writingcontest@sakai.ithaca.edu by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2015, making sure to follow all requirements for submission, and please direct any questions to contest coordinator Prof. Jaime Warburton at <jwarburton@ithaca.edu>. 

All students registered at Ithaca College, full or part time, are eligible to participate. Winners will receive a prize, online publication, and the opportunity to read at the Handwerker Gallery.

Categories for Submission 

  • First-Year Essay
  • Feature/Magazine
  • Fiction
  • Nonfiction (including Argument)
  • Personal Essay
  • Poetry
  • Collaborative Professional Writing

You may enter multiple categories, but may submit only one piece per category.
