Are you interested in learning about pelvic floor exercises? Strong pelvic muscles are important for bladder control and core stability for both men and women. We are a group of five Ithaca College Physical Therapy Doctoral Candidates in our final semester and will be leading a lunch-hour workshop to teach you how to activate your pelvic floor muscles. In this workshop, we will cover the basic anatomy of pelvic floor muscles and exercises that specifically target these muscles. We have clinical experience teaching these techniques, which are all non-invasive methods of strengthening. We will primarily use diagrams and verbal instruction. All participants’ information/identity will remain confidential throughout and after this workshop. The workshop will take place on Tuesday, April 14th from 12:15-12:50pm. Participants will be contacted prior to the workshop and provided with location and more information.
