Cards for Kids event- join Project Sunshine and bring your families!Contributed by Julie Dorsey on 04/14/15 Join IC Project Sunshine on Saturday April 18th in order to decorate 'Sunny Grams' (greeting cards) which will be sent to children staying in medical facilities across the country. We will be in Williams Hall, room 310, from 1 - 3 pm. IC Project Sunshine will provide all the supplies such as cards, markers, crayons, and stickers.
We especially encourage families to attend this community service event. This activity is appropriate for children of all ages, and is a great opportunity for children to participate in service learning. IC Project Sunshine is a chapter of a national non-profit organization which focuses on helping children staying in medical facilitates and their families regain a sense of normalcy. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Caitlin Wormsley at cwormsl2@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible."
