Environmental Studies & Sciences Department Seniors will present on what was and what might be coming next!Contributed by Carol Hansen on 04/09/15 Seniors in the Environmental Studies and Sciences Department participate in a final-semester seminar where they explore their trajectories at Ithaca College and reflect on what in the world comes next. A brief presentation at a catered ENVS Senior Expo event gives each of them a chance to discuss a seminal research project, describe a life-altering experience from their time at IC, or reflect on an environmental issue that is of particular interest.
Two Senior Expos are coming up next week and presentation titles are just as wide-ranging and unusual as our students. Join us to snack on delicious appetizers and hear presentations entitled The Greatest Show on Earth!; Cosmic Reality Check; An Apple a Day: Considering the environment’s role in public health; Falling Upward; and several more over the course of two days. Expos are Monday 13 April from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in Klingenstein Lounge and Tuesday 14 April from noon to 1:30 PM in Clark Lounge – both in the Student Center. Please join us for some possibly odd and definitely interesting presentations! Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Carol Hansen at chansen@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-1822. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
