Ithaca College

Procedures and schedules are in place for Final Exams during the week of Tuesday, May 5th through Monday, May 11th.

Optical scanning should be brought to the ITS Help Desk between 8am-5pm to be checked in.  The exams will then be delivered to Computer Operations for processing. Please allow for a twenty-four hour turnaround time during finals week. All requested reports will be added to the Instructor’s Sakai Drop Box (including report 101). If you have not used Optical Scanning services until now you will be enrolled into your respective school’s work-site and a Drop Box will be created during the scanning process. Directions on how to retrieve your reports are sent via a Sakai message and to the Instructor’s Ithaca College email account, e.g., jdoe@ithaca.edu. 

After Hours:  Tuesday, May 5th through Friday, May 8th (5:00pm-8:00pm)

• Instructors can drop off exams. All requested reports will be added to your Drop Box in Sakai when they are done being processed.
• Exams must be to the operator by 8:00pm.
• To drop off exams, Instructors must call 274-3406 to make arrangements with the operator on duty.
• Please note: Exams that are dropped off will be available at the ITS Help Desk by 8:00am the following business day.

After Hours: Monday, May 11th (5:00pm-8:00pm)

• Instructors can drop off exams. All requested reports will be added to your Drop Box in Sakai when they are done being processed.
• Exams must be to the operator by 8:00pm.
• Instructors can also pick up exams that have been previously dropped off until 8:00pm.
• To drop off and pick up exams Instructors must call 274-3406 to make arrangements with the operator on duty.
• Please note: Exams that are dropped off and not picked up will be available at the ITS Help Desk on Tuesday, May 12th at 8:00am.

Regular Optical Scanning processing will resume on Tuesday, May 12th.  After-hours processing will not be available after Monday, May 11th.

The DEADLINE to submit final exams for processing is Thursday, May 14th at 12:00pm.

All exams received by noon on Thursday, May 14th will be available in the Instructor’s Sakai Drop Box by 5:00pm.
