Google Chrome Incompatibility with IC Enterprise SystemsContributed by Karen Compton on 04/23/15 The latest version of Chrome, version 42, is now blocking Java plug-ins, rendering Chrome incompatible for use with Parnassus "core applications," HomerAdmin, Nolij Web advanced functions, and other systems that require a Java Plug. Chrome continues to be a suitable browser for these purposes. While Chrome has never been an officially-supported browser for use with our enterprise applications such Parnassus core applications and HomerAdmin, some people who prefer the Chrome browser had found it to be functional with those systems. However, Google is now permanently blocking Java plug-ins that are required for use with our enterprise systems. ITS Helpdesk |
