Invited by the Political Science, Education, and Music Departments, Ioanide met an engaging and energized crowd of 150 students and faculty members to discuss the emotional and irrational dimensions of contemporary gendered racism and nativism. She concluded her talk with a discussion on ethical witnessing and the significance of protest/cultural creation in the realignment of the emotional geographies of our bodies toward justice.
