The Office of the Provost and Vice President for Educational Affairs invites the campus to a farewell reception for Dean Leslie Lewis. In recognition of Dean Leslie Lewis’s contributions to the institution, a reception will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2015, 4:00-5:30 pm in Clark Lounge of the Campus Center. Leslie joined Ithaca College in 2008 as the Dean of Humanities and Sciences. Prior to joining IC, she held administrative and faculty positions at the College of Saint Rose and Emporia State University. While at Ithaca College, Leslie has strengthened the faculty governance system within H&S, increased the diversity of the faculty, clarified scholarship expectations for faculty and most notably has provided the leadership for the establishment of the Integrative Core Curriculum for the College.
Dean Lewis will be joining Goucher College on July 1 as its next provost and vice president for academic affairs. Please plan to join us as we thank Leslie for her many contributions and wish her well as she accepts the next leadership position.
