Diane, I will be unable to attend (as I have an exam during that time), but I wanted to thank you publicly for your hard work, good sense, thoughtful mentoring of students and colleagues, and all-around-wonderfulness these past decades. We will be poorer without you--we have been made richer for your presence. Enjoy your next adventures!

Diane, This is a sad thing for the students here at Ithaca College. It has been a pleasure getting to know you and I hope to read more of your quick witted and thoughtful prose now that you have more time to write it, maybe some more music too..
