Muller Chapel and Peggy Ryan Williams Center Wi-Fi completeContributed by Matt Gorney on 07/27/15 Ithaca College ITS is proud to announce that Muller Chapel and The Peggy Ryan Williams Center have now passed the Wi-Fi testing phase and are complete. Faculty, staff and students using those buildings should now enjoy strong, stable, robust Wi-Fi service. The completion of these two buildings leave only the A&E Center left in our project list. The Wi-Fi project team is actively working in that space to give our largest public venue Wi-Fi service that can accomodate a large number of people and allow us to provide excellent service for a multitude of uses in that space. As we gear up for the last building in our project, we will compile and post our speed testing data which has shown improvements up to 3x over the old network. Please visit our testing website to see the results. https://www.ithaca.edu/its/services/wireless/campusproject2014/testresults/ As always, if you are experiencing network connection issues, please contact the Helpdesk Other feedback or comments on the project can be sent to us via Twitter @IthacaITS |
