New Exam Reports

The following new reports are now available:

204 Condensed Item Analysis Report - The Condensed Item Analysis report provides answer choice frequency information on a question-by-question basis. It displays much of the same information from the Detailed Item Analysis report but in a condensed fashion.

520 Changed Answer by Item Report - The Changed Answer by Item Report displays how many questions were erased. This report shows all questions that were changed to Correct or Incorrect answers. A bar graph is also included that displays the Percent changed to correct information.

530 Changed Answer by Student Report - The Changed Answer by Student Report displays all of the students that took the exam where questions were erased. This report shows questions that were changed to Correct or Incorrect answers.

New Features

Extra Credit

On the new Test Request form, Instructors have the ability to designate extra point questions. Any points earned on extra credit questions are added to the total test score. Instructors can designate whole or ½ points for extra credit (.5 point, 1.5 points, 2.5 points, 3.5 points, etc.).

Reports that show Extra Credit:

  • 101     Student Statistics Report
  • 310     Test Statistics Report (formerly Report 104)
  • 150     Student Grade Report (formerly Report 301)
  • 320     Test Item Statistics Report (formerly Report 207)

1/2 Points

On the new Test Request form, Instructors have the ability to grade questions using ½ points.

  • For the Blue and Green Scantron sheets, Instructors can designate whole number points in the special codes area in Column P.
  • The Charcoal sheet has a designated area for whole points.

The revised test request form has an area to indicate the use of the ½ point for specific questions. Exam can be scored with .5, 1.5, 2.5 points, etc. If the entire exam is to be scored with ½ points, Instructors can designate that in the Authorized Special Procedures section located at the bottom of the Request Form.  If points are not designated, all exams are scored at 1 point per question.

Reports that show points:

  • 101     Student Statistics Report
  • 150     Student Grade Report (formerly Report 301)
  • 310     Test Statistics Report (formerly Report 104)
  • 320     Test Item Statistics Report (formerly Report 207)
