 A series of three evening workshops for those with an interest in the study and practice of law. Pizza will be provided.

This session will cover the types of positions lawyers hold and skills successful lawyers bring to the table.

Internships

The Admissions Process

This session will pick up where the first session ended by covering the types of internships that our students have typically obtained, how to get internships, and what expect.  We will then begin to cover how the law school admissions process works and how to best position yourself for acceptance into law school. Included in this workshop will be discussion of the impact of grades, test scores, and other factors on law school admissions.

The Right Law School for You

This session will cover how to choose law schools best suited to you, including where you would most likely be accepted and how to finance your legal education.

All Ithaca College students with a possible interest in law school or the practice of law are invited to attend.
