Most of us would say no. However, we are often not sure how to improve our sleep. In fact, many of us try strategies that are actually detrimental to good sleep. Join us for the Work/Life Presentation of Sleep Success: It's not what you think! As a counseling health psychologist, Assistant Professor Jessye Cohen-Filipic has worked with many people who are having sleep problems. In this presentation she will discuss briefly the importance of sleep and then focus on sleep hygiene and strategies for getting a good night’s sleep. Jessye will offer tips on improving your sleeping environment, relaxing before bedtime, and getting on a good sleep schedule. Whether you have regular sleepless nights or simply think you could benefit from a little more sleep, this presentation should be helpful. Thursday, October 8, 2015 beginning at 12:00pm in the HR Conference Room (GL52, PRWC). RSVPs are appreciated to benefits@ithaca.edu or 274-8000. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Human Resources at benefits@ithaca.edu or 274-8000. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
