As a follow-up to comments made by Nancy Pringle at the All College Meeting on Thursday, August 20th, we are asking all staff employees to complete an Individual Development Plan in consultation with their supervisor.  The original deadline of September 30th has been extended to October 30th.  

An Individual Development Plan (IDP) is an organized approach to professional development.  IDPs have long been used as a tool to help employees develop their skills and achieve their goals.

Workshops have been scheduled for employees who would like to know more about how to write an Individual Development Plan.  The details for the workshops are as follows:

• Tuesday, September 22nd 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., Room # 52, PRW Center
• Wednesday, October 7th  10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Room # 52, PRW Center
• Wednesday, October 21st 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., Room # 52, PRW Center

We will be contacting supervisors throughout the month of November to discuss the IDPs in an effort to identify programming and resources necessary to help employees achieve their professional development goals.
