It is with very mixed emotions that I share the news that Kris Miller, Director of Creative Services in the Office of Marketing Communications, has accepted a position at the University of San Francisco. Her last day at IC will be Thursday, October 8.

Over the past 4+ years, Kris and her exceptional creative services team have conceptualized, created, and successfully executed countless on- and off-campus marketing projects on behalf of the Ithaca College community. Kris’s leadership has also had a profound and lasting impact on Ithaca College’s visual identity. Some of her most significant accomplishments include leading the creation of Ithaca’s new institutional and athletics identities and related branding rollouts; the complete redesign of both ICView and IC Fuse; and the stellar execution of our first-ever IC Giving Day event.

Kris would like to express her profound gratitude for the many exciting opportunities she has had in working with the talented and committed IC community.

I would like to extend my sincerest thanks and gratitude to Kris for her professionalism, leadership, and support over these past four years. I am incredibly proud of her accomplishments, creativity, can-do spirit, and integrity -- all of which will be deeply missed in Marcom and across the campus community.

Please join me in congratulating Kris, and wishing her all the best as she embarks on an exciting new chapter in her career!

A search committee will be named and the search for a new director of creative services will begin ASAP.

Sooo sorry to hear that you're leaving, Kris. Thank you for
being a past judge of our student campaigns during AAF
Creative Crunch. Your talents and nice personality will be
missed. Best wishes at your new digs in the great city of
San Fran. Take care.
