Ithaca College

As part of Alumni Weekend 2015, all campus community members are invited to join the School of Business on Saturday, September 26, 9:30-11:00 a.m., to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the School of Business Center for Trading and Analysis of Financial Instruments (also known as: the Trading Room). 

The CTAFI has always been on the cutting edge –20 years ago when it opened it was the first at an academic institution.  Today, we are one of a select number of Colleges that have students managing real money out of the CTAFI.  At IC, the students manage approximately $800,000 in Equity, Fixed Income, and Hedge Fund portfolios.  

Our program will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a breakfast buffet in the second-floor atrium of the Dorothy D. and Roy H. Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise.  Throughout the morning, we'll hear from staff, students, and alumni about the importance of the Trading Room.
