Noted Environmental Protection Agency Limnologist to speak on Research Activities at the Agency’s National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory in Corvallis, OregonContributed by Carol Hansen on 09/29/15 Dixon Landers, Senior Research Environmental Scientist with the US EPA's National Health and Environmental Effects Research Laboratory/Western Ecology Division, will talk about his current work applying a recently developed Final Ecosystem Goods and Services classification system to real world issues at multiple spatial scales (community, region, and national).
Activities previous to this include designing and directing the US National Park Service’s 2002-2008 Western Airborne Contaminant Assessment Project that evaluated impacts of airborne contaminant in western national parks. Dr. Landers is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife at Oregon State University.
