This exhibition explores the contrast between the manufactured environment we have constructed and the sublime qualities of the natural world.  Falk uses the experiences she has had and the observations she has made while living in a variety of places to propel her work.  […] the space between prompts viewers to consider the future and how extreme forces of nature may disrupt the balance that we have so carefully created.

Join us from 5:00-8:00 PM on November 6th, 2015 for the opening of […] the space between; a solo exhibition from our Fall Semester visiting artist Naomi J. Falk.  Falk received her MFA in Studio Art from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003 and is currently working as a visiting assistant professor at St. Lawrence University.
