Freshmen and Sophomores: Audition for Acting I class for Spring 2016Contributed by Mary Scheidegger on 10/21/15 Due to the high demand for seats in Acting I, freshmen and sophomores can rarely enroll in the class. The Department of Theatre Arts offers one section exclusively for these students, available by audition. The class, THEA 13100-04, CRN 42236, is taught by Judith Levitt and meets Spring 2016, Tuesday and Thursday from 10:50 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. in Dillingham Center Studio 5. Auditions will be held on Thursday, October 29th, with two sessions from 12:10 to 1:00 and from 5:00 to 5:50. No preparation is required. There will be cold readings and/or improvisations. Those who audition will need to arrive at the beginning of the audition session and stay until the end. Students who have successfully auditioned for the class will receive notification that they may register for the class. Please sign up for audition slot and obtain an audition form by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 28th at the Department of Theatre Arts Main Office, Dillingham 226. Auditions are limited to 20 persons per session, first come, first served.
