IC More Than Me will be hosting their 3rd Annual More Than Words spoken word poetry event, on Monday November 9 at 8pm in IC Square! If you’re interested in performing, sign up at our table in campus center on November 3rd,4th and 5th. 

Students will be able to sign up at the event as well. We will be raffling off great items such as More Than Me merchandise and items from Liberia! We encourage performances of spoken word poetry as well as personal reflections and short prose in the interest of Living Bigger, and expanding each other's worldview. 

More Than Words focuses around “living for something bigger than yourself”. Developing a global perspective allows individuals to come together as an international community and support one another. Even if you have never performed spoken word poetry, or don’t enjoy being up on stage, please share your passions and be heard. For those who would like to perform a poem with two or more people, multiple microphones will be available.

IC More Than Me aims to raise funds and awareness for girls’ education in West Point, Liberia. Their fundraising efforts directly benefit the More Than Me Foundation, whose mission is to use education as a catalyst for change and empowerment.
