Are you interested in traveling to Guatemala this spring to engage in a meaningful service experience? Students are encouraged to come to Williams Room 225 on Wednesday, November 4, at 8pm to hear from local volunteer Kristen Brennan, who is involved with the Habitat for Humanity Global Village program. Students can learn about the opportunity to join Habitat for a work week during Ithaca's spring break (March 12-20, 2016). Students would be going to Quetzaltenango (usually referred to by its indigenous name, Xela), Guatemala, to engage in service, and will have time to explore the area.
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Don Austin at austin@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
