Rodrigo Ugarte, Writing and Latin American Studies and 2013 graduate, published "Torture, Hunger, and Anti-Semitism in the Falklands War," in the blog "War is Boring." The article explores the treatment of Jewish conscripts during the 1981 Falklands/Malvinas War.

Mr. Ugarte conducted interviews with Jewish survivors of the war and also located Argentine declassified documents. In addition to exploring the Jewish experience during the war, Mr. Ugarte situates their story in the larger history of the Argentine armed forces and their treatment of soldiers and sailors.
