Is Romeo and Juliet really the archetypal love story it's made out to be? Find out for yourself when BFA acting and musical theater majors perform scenes from this early Shakespearean tragedy. See the Elizabethan equivalent of a first date, a bedroom scene, a family's showdown over marriage, reaction to tragedy, and pastoral counseling--all in the space of three days. These scenes will be presented on Wednesday November 4 at 10:15 a.m. and Thursday November 5 at 10:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. All showings, which are free of charge, will be in Studio 4 on the ground level of Dillingham Center. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Greg Bostwick at gbostwick@ithaca.edu or (607) 274-3794. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
