This message is being shared on behalf of Dr. Timothy Carey, Associate Vice President, Facilities I am delighted to announce that Mr. Eric Nichols has joined the Ithaca College Facilities Department as the new Director of Facilities Services, effective Monday, November 2nd. Prior to joining IC, Eric spent seven years in the Athletics Department at Hartwick College – first as Coordinator of Support Services, and then as the Assistant Director for Internal Operations. Eric left Hartwick College in 2010 to become the Director of Business Development at PSP Unlimited in Ithaca. Eric’s strong desire to return to higher education, coupled with his customer-centered approach and his capacity for leading in a dynamic environment made him an extremely strong match for the Facilities Services directorship. Furthermore, Mr.Nichols has solid experience within work environments that require careful planning, astute budget oversight and the provision of fairness and equity to all employees within the organization. Eric is already in the process of reaching out to many of his new colleagues around the campus. Please join me in welcoming Eric Nichols to Ithaca College! Timothy Carey
