 Deb Harper presented on a panel of counseling center directors at the 66th annual Association of University and College Counseling Center Director’s (AUCCCD) Conference in Salt Lake City in October 2015. 

 The flash format session, “What A Great Idea: Innovations in College Counseling,” has been a long-standing tradition at counseling conferences.  Panelists were selected by a committee of peers who reviewed proposed topics; presenters’ names and locations were not included in the proposal review.  Dr. Harper’s presentation, Need a Referral?  Just Google It!, was one of 6 topics selected this year.  Need a Referral? described CAPS’ development of a network of community mental health professionals and an efficient system for connecting students and area resources when needed. Content examples and evaluative comments from local psychotherapists were given for attendees to use in creating a system for their centers.
