We are pleased to report that the H&S Dean search is progressing well and on schedule.  The search committee met recently and faced some difficult choices as it reviewed the candidacies of a well-qualified, large, and diverse pool of leaders and discussed the results of related referencing calls.

The search committee has now selected a small number of semi-finalists for confidential preliminary interviews to be held off campus soon with the members of the search committee and with Provost Ben Rifkin.  At the conclusion of those interviews, a sub-set of those candidates will be identified as finalists to participate in extensive interviews on campus, with a broad range of constituents.  Our current timetable expects that we will welcome finalists to campus in early December.  Your participation in those visits will be vital to the success of the search, so please look for updates with candidate profiles and schedules.
