Ithaca College Mock Trial Captures Second Place in St. Bonaventure TournamentContributed by Michael G. Whelan on 11/10/15 Ithaca College’s Mock Trial Team A finished second among a field of fourteen teams at the Fourth Annual Friar Faceoff at St. Bonaventure University this past weekend. Ithaca’s A team finished with six wins, one loss and one tie, prevailing over teams from Case Western, Geneseo, and St. Bonaventure. Ithaca’s B team finished with a 2-6 record.
Ithaca’s teams also won several individual awards. Taylor Ford won a top attorney award, finishing fourth among a field of 84 student attorneys. Taylor Reeves followed her top attorney finish at Case Western last month to win another top attorney award, placing eighth overall among the field. Among a field of 84 witnesses, Mike Ranalli placed third, Addie Bartlett placed fourth, and Theo Alexander and Brian Bilodeau tied for seventh. Ithaca College Mock Trial will next compete when we host the second Bomber Blitz on January 30th and 31st.
